We wish to inform you that the Rotary Wing Society of India has decided to publish the book "Saga of Indian Helicopter Pilots in War & Peace" soon.

The book highlights the role played by helicopters and its gallant pilots in the Indian Armed Forces in War and Peace since 1962. As it is the first book to analyze and record the significant role played by helicopters in numerous operations, it is bound to be a valuable record. The cost of the book is likely to be Rs.500/-.

The book has also attempted to bring out the acts of valour of nearly 180 helicopter pilots who were given gallantry awards for their exceptional sense of duty from the year 1962 to date.

This Book will be dedicated to all personnel of Helicopter Units of the Indian Armed Forces whose acts of gallantry both in the face of the enemy in war and peace and those acts of gallantry other than in the face of the enemy have helped their respective services to play their part in the most efficient manner .
